I often hear in my land India that the business caste of us Punjabi Khatri is corrupt. The answer is no. We are a proud group of Indians who by hard work have done very wel. People are thus jealous. The recent case of Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, who was wanted for the alleged rape and murder of British girl Hannah Foster in England and has been arrested makes people believe in India that Punjabi Khatris are a corrupt group of people, even though Kohli's Khatri wife in UK is a fine lady. Kohli again married a lady in India.
Next Nafisa Joseph was betrayed by a Punjabi Khatri named Khanduja, who is already married and was leaving his first wife and was to marry Nafisa. Khanduja backed out.
Thus this mean we Khatris are filthy and cheats. No I say no. See a great Punjabi Khatri Dr. Manmohan Singh. Singh is a brilliant, honest and a superb nationalist. So do not blame us Punjabi Khatris just because few of us honourless. We are good people.
